Besides the great writing and characterization and the absolutely adorable character designs, I'm really impressed by the way you use Ren'py for all of the animations and the little details, it all adds up to make the game so charming and I love it.
I think this is a perfectly bite-sized game that does what it wants to and delivers some really heart-wrenching moments that at first I didn't expect from such a cozy-looking VN. There were times I found myself getting as angry as Thyme, and others where I took the side of her friends trying to get her to chill. It's all super complicated and messy and you displayed that so well here.
Hey!! I do really like this visual novel. I love how the character, GUI, and the background matched it up. So it's become very interesting in my opinion.
After Trashwing Crowchild I was so excited to try out your next game and oh boy does it not disappoint! On the contrary, I had little tears in my eyes the the ending starting playing. Such a touching, cute game!
As to be expected great music and awesome animations. The art style fit the story perfectly!
There are few pieces of media put out in the world that contain more heart, emotional intelligence, and artistry than A Witch is Getting Married (or, for that matter, FeatherBoy's entry last Spooktober, Trashwing Crowchild). While the subject matter is incredibly (and relatably!) complex and anxiety-riddled, every single aspect of the game feels reassuring and comforting as a cup of warm tea: the soothing soundtrack, the cozy character designs (I want to give them all hugs), the phenomenal backgrounds that seamlessly blend practical and digital artwork--everything feels tactile and alive and imperfectly perfect. The analogy of the sunshower--and the unknowns it contains--is spot-on thematically: a beautiful and bittersweet image which encapsulates a beautiful and bittersweet world.
All told, a brilliant, enormously enjoyable game; I highly recommend it!
